JART - Ginwoo 2nd Place at TAMPA AM
What an amazing week! The 28th edition of the annual proving ground for amateur skaters TAMPA AM, has been a great opportunity for new talents to show what they are capable of.
Our youngest and Japanese rider Ginwoo Onodera made it 2nd, being the crowd’s favorite from day one. After a perfect run landing absolutely every trick at the Qualifiers, he passed in 1st position straight to the finals where he fought until the very end. Even if he did not complete an entire line in the finals, he managed to land some bangers with his tiny Jart Classic 7.375” Deck, that took the crowd to their feet. Gin went for an unbeatable but risky run to secure the 1st place, but sadly he didn’t manage to beat Daiki Ikeda. This is just the beginning. Future looks bright for this little legend.
JART riders Max Berguin and Jonas Carlsson also did some great rounds getting to the semi-finals, but couldn’t make it any further.
Our special thanks go to Brian Schaefer and Paul Zitzer for making this happen.
JART - Gustavo Ribeiro SLS Super Crown 2022 Champion
The most prestigious skateboarding contest in the world has a new champion since yesterday, November 6th.
After winning the previous SLS date in Las Vegas, our young JART rider Gustavo Ribeiro became the SLS Super Crown world champion thanks to his technical bag of tricks and smart decision-making during the competition.
In fact, we had the best final of all times. Saving the best for last, the 2017 Tampa AM Champion got himself in the skateboard history book in Rio de Janeiro becoming the first European to win the SLS Super Crown.
After being in the lead for most of the competition Gustavo secured the win with a trademark nosegrind nollie flip out, taking the gold from the rookie Braden Hoban, who got the night’s highest score. Anyways, Ribeiro’s consistency prevailed, and we can proudly say that he got the well-deserved 2022 SLS Super Crown champion trophy.
However, Ribeiro was not the only JART rider to do a great job yesterday. Gabriella Mazetto, playing at home, got herself a spot in the Women’s Final after showing her Brazilian crowd her clean skateboarding.
PLAN B riders Felipe Gustavo and Chris Joslin also participated in the Super Crown final, showing us all what we already knew: they’re among the best skaters in the world. Chris Joslin got himself the 3rd place in the competition, after advancing to the final round with a few 9-club tricks and making the crowd roar in his first line.
Get your hands on our winner’s boards before it’s too late.

Long Island - ¨Something New¨
Did you notice something recently? Yes, Long Island is very happy to announce a new branding as part of its ongoing growth and evolution as a skateboard brand!
Long Island has evolved and grown over the past years adding to its arsenal the newest skateboard technologies. After designing and developing their own surfskate truck, they’ve decided to update their branding to symbolize their dynamic growth.
With its substandard curves and lines, the new logo represents earth, nature, their unique skateboard shapes, and sunrise, something they never take for granted every day and reminds us to push (literally) towards a better tomorrow.

Long Island - The GENESIS Surfskate Truck
Genesis (n.)
The origin or coming into being of something.
As wind starts to blow, the ocean starts to move and waves are created. Formed out of water and with help of earth’s crafmanship, the bottom underneath the waves create the shape of a wave and how it rolls down the shorelines. Thanks to these natural elements working together we got inspired to surf these waves…
Using the 3 elements just like nature does, and adding the fourth element, fire, to forge it all into one the Genesis truck got born and brings surfing out of the ocean and into land. Developed and designed uniquely for Long Island, the Genesis surfskate truck is LEAN’s newest addition to its arsenal of skateboard trucks and brings surfing a concrete wave the closest to surfing one made out of water than it has ever been.
The system uses a 160mm hanger and half-moon bushings to keep the weight as low as possible and create the perfect combination of smooth turns and rebound to gain speed while bombing. All together the truck will give you a high-performance surf experience and take concrete surfing to a whole new level.
