JART collab with MARISCAL!
Javier Mariscal is one of the best artists in Europe. Known mainly for the creation of the historic mascot of the Olympic Games held in 1992 in Barcelona. But also, for works such as the duplex stool and for having participated in the movie Chico and Rita, and many more.
His union and connection to the city of Barcelona, make his designs to be based on the city, capturing the most significant icons and references of the city, and portraying them on skateboards.
The palmtree as a symbol of the “Barceloneta’s” area; the vivid colours of the Guell Park and the waves of the sea; the map of the city with the most significant iconic places like the Sagrada Familia, Colon Statue & Tibidabo park/area; and finally, the deck that represents Barcelona as one of the cities with more skateboarding activity.
We are super hyped with this new collab with Javier Mariscal, and hope you like the edit we made with Jart’s rider Joan Galceran, filmed by the talented videomaker Gochi, around the classic Barcelona downtown spots.

JART - Welcomes ANGELO CARO to the PRO Team
Despite living in a difficult situation, if you really want something, you find the time for what really motivates you. This is what Angelo Caro has been doing for almost two years. Effort, perseverance and with the aim of improving himself and learning something new every day.
And every effort has its reward. And that is how today, finally, he has become and he is part of the JART PRO TEAM!
JART Skateboards 22-year-old Peruvian skateboarder is making history. It all started when he was 10 years old and his brother lent him a skateboard. Since that day, he hasn’t stopped skateboarding. We could say he spends more time skateboarding than walking.
As Angelo points out, it’s not about having years of experience to be the best, it’s about being consistent and striving to learn something new every day. It’s about motivation and loving what you do.
This 2021, it has come loaded with well-deserved awards for him. Gold medal in the Madrid Urban Sports. Participation in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, obtaining the 5th position. And he recently won the silver medal at the Junior Panamerican Games. His next goal? Paris 2024 and get the gold medal.

Now, JART Skateboards presents his 2 new and unique PRO MODELS, designed in honor to his country, Peru:

JART - GINWOO ONODERA makes history at Tampa AM 2021
What a crazy weekend we’ve had at the TAMPA AM 2021 skateboard contest!
250 amateur skaters met up at the Skatepark of Tampa over the weekend, for the 27th edition of the TAMPA AM contest, with the aim of becoming the most recognised amateur skater of the year. Shout-out to Yukito Aoki, who won 1st place with an incredible final run.
JART riders Alex Decunha and Ginwoo Onodera, took part in the contest, which turned out to be the edition of the TAMPA AM with the highest skateboarding level in history. And history is what Ginwoo made! He became the youngest skater ever to make it to the TAMPA AM finals, with only 11 years of age, qualifying in 2nd place at the semi-finals and getting a 7th place at the finals.
After 4 videos about Ginwoo were posted on The Berrics over the last 2 months, this was Ginwoo’s first appearance to the public, who have been able to watch him skate live for the first time in a major contest. Ginwoo’s unique style and signature flip-in flip-out bluntslides won him the public’s heart, who celebrated every trick from the qualifiers to the final.
The variety of tricks landed with his tiny JART Classic 7.25” Deck was unreal and made him become the crowd’s favourite. Even the judges showed their amazement at Gin’s consistency and level of concentration, unusual for a person of his age.
In fact, Ginwoo’s performance won him the Zumiez Destroyer Award, that he received while Paul Zitzer expressed that “this kid never stopped, he went on and on”. These words made the people who had congregated at the Skatepark of Tampa cheer and applaud, and it became obvious that Ginwoo’s introduction to the world will be remembered for a long time.
From HLC Distribution, we want to thank Brian Schaefer and Paul Zitzer for making this contest possible.
GUSTAVO RIBEIRO & LUCAS RABELO - SLS Super Crown Championship
WHAT A CRAZY SLS SUPER CROWN CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL!!!
Have you seen the most incredible final in years? SLS Super Crown Championship, took place in Jacksonville, Florida, and welcomed skaters that blasted the rink with their best tricks. Happy to know that 3 of the riders who participated in the finals are ours. Gustavo Ribeiro (JART), Lucas Rabelo (FLIP) and Felipe Gustavo (PLAN B).
There were 8 participants on sunday in the finals, who did 1 round with 4 tricks, of which only the 3 highest scores, counted. The competition started strong, with a score of 9.6 from Jagger Eaton and 9.5 from Shane O’Neill. The 4 highest scoring skaters in this round were: Jagger Eaton, Gustavo Ribeiro, Lucas Rabelo and Nyjah Huston.
At the end, on the last attempt and fighting for the podium, Eaton took the gold with a 27.5 score that included a 9.6 from his round and a 9 on his first trick. An 8.9 on another trick allowed him to hold on to first place over Brazil’s Lucas Rabelo, who scored 27.3 with two tricks of 9.3 and 9.1. Third place on the podium went to Portugal’s Gustavo Ribeiro, only 0.1 ahead of Nyjah Huston, who didn’t have his best round and then couldn’t land three tricks. What a madness final!
CONGRATS TO EVERYONE!
