JART - Gustavo Ribeiro wins DEW TOUR 2022 Des Moines
Friday’s Street Final was a night of redemption for JART Pro Gustavo Ribeiro, who injured his shoulder in the contest at Dew Tour one year ago but locked down this year’s Final early in the night, from Run 1.
Ribeiro opened his run with a casual 360 flip step-up, then went straight into the backside Smith grind, looking immediately relieved as he was rolling away from it. Removing the jinx seemed to unlock something inside him, as he packed an incredible 10 total tricks in his run.
It featured a nollie nosebluntslide on the bump to bar, 360 flip to 50-50 on the Hubba ledge, crooked grind nollie flip out from the down rail, kickflip frontside boardslide on the bump to bar, 360 flip to nosebluntslide on the down rail, crooked grind up the ledge, kickflip, and bigspin frontside boardslide on the big rail.
Ribeiro looked almost shocked to have put it down on his first attempt, and pointed to the sky as he was rolling off. He attempted to improve on it, knowing there were heavy hitters down the entire roster, but fell in each of his next attempts.

What an amazing weekend we’ve just had in Jacksonville. Did you see the Finals? Hope you did because here you have some spoilers:
JART PRO Gustavo Ribeiro got 3rd place yesterday, behind Sora Shirai (2nd) & Yuto Horigome (1st). Gustavo struggle a little bit on his first run with a 6.7, but then he got a solid 9.1 on his second run. Later the best trick section came and he got an 8.7 and 9.3 on his first and third attempts. OLYMPICS 2024 - AURELIEN GIRAUD & GUSTAVO RIBEIRO GET 2nd & 3rd PLACE IN ROME
Last weekend took place in Rome the first Qualifiers for the 2024 Olympics. The format consisted of Two Lines (Best Line count) and Five Best Tricks Attempts (Two Best Tricks count). The Gold wasn’t going to be easy to get as our riders Aurelien Giraud & Gustavo Ribeiro made a great performance and almost took the win away from Nyjah Huston. Both of them got a great line and two solid best tricks, which some people in the crowd considered that they deserved a higher score as they were quite annoyed with the judges. In the end, they got 2nd & 3rd Place.
From HLC, we would like to congratulate these amazing skaters on their performance. We are pretty sure that they will get the gold sooner or later.

ADRIEN BULARD WINS the MYSTIC CUP STREET 2022 and TOM MARTIN WINS the FRENCH BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP 2022
Adrien Bulard is the new Street winner of the 27th edition of the Mystic Cup!
The globally renowned Skate competition took place during the weekend of 25th-26th of June in Prague, Czech Republic, and congregated hundreds of people who enjoyed of music concerts, great street food and hours of skateboarding.
The 30 best skaters from Saturday participated in the semi-final on Sunday after midday, where JART riders Angelo Caro and Alex Decunha participated too.
Adrien brought the crowd and the judges to their feet with a huge 360 flip and a very consistent 1 minute line in the semifinals, which took him straight to the finals where Angelo and Alex participated too.
The win was not decided until the last second when Adrien took it from Jake Ilardi and Matias Dell Ollio with a monster Flip to BS Lipslide in a rail and a Bigspin Flip FS Boardslide in another rail. This also gave him the deserved 1st position in the Best Trick challenge. Apart from Adrien’s win of the tournament, Angelo Caro ended 6thin the final and Alex Decunha 10th.
However, Adrien’s was not the only win of a JART rider this weekend. Our 13 years young Tom Martin has become the winner of the French Bowl Championship 2022 in Marseille, establishing himself as a key player in the French skateboarding scene.
